We are pleased to announce that M/Y Katharine is one of the first superyachts worldwide to earn Forbes Travel Guide Service Trained Crew designations. Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”) is the global authority on luxury hospitality and the world-renowned expert in genuine Five-Star service.

IGY Marinas has partnered with FTG to deliver proprietary superyacht crew service training as an exclusive benefit of IGY Trident Collective membership. Crews leave with sharpened hospitality skills and actionable takeaways to implement onboard immediately. This interactive training helps develop high-performing teams capable of creating unrivaled luxury service experiences for the most discerning guests and owners.

The crews that attended the luxury service training in April participated in sessions that focused on elements of luxury, anticipatory service and handling difficult guests. Through role play, team-building exercises and open discussion, crew from all departments collaborated and were inspired to new levels of service excellence. In feedback following the training, crew members shared, “We feel more motivated to go the extra mile for our next charter,” and that they found the training “very helpful, fun and interactive!”
